OMG! Can't take sitting at a computer and just staring into nothingness ANYMORE! I'm going freaking crazy. Seriously about to scream!

We couldn't really do much this weekend. I would have liked to have done more with the leak in the kitchen issues. We both got a little frustrated. This week is going to be long. First week of working 3 jobs for the next 4 weeks. Should be tons of fun.

So I had my first day of class yesterday. I think for being a first time art teacher it went okay. Not too shabby! When I got home Mercury gave me a gift, a bar of chocolate covered bacon. I'm excited to try it out. Should be interesting. He really knows me! :)

The most wonderful day indeed. We have a huge leak in the kitchen that seems to have been their a while. The sheet rock is molded through. YEAH!! So happy.
Today is my first day of teaching, I guess we will see what happens. Kind of  freaked out about it.
I accumulated a few items for my collection pieces this past weekend. I love Uncommon Objects. Now if only I could get them to donate the things i need. I bought a drink tray.  My collection piece.
There something new you learned about me today.
I kind of wish people would buy some of my art or something, commission me for a piece. It is okay for me to write this here cause I know no one reads it. No worries! It's like a diary for me. I guess. :)

We went biking this weekend to the Mansion and back. That was intense for me. I've never gone city biking like that. It was great! Loved it! Got a little tired grumpy, but I feel some of my grumpy was justified. I haven't eaten today, mainly due to lack of funds and I have to pay taxes this month. I HATE TAXES! I hate that I pay quarterly too! I can't really do it.  Broke. Anywho... I'm hungry, so I am going to talk about food.  I believe that right now Deviled eggs would hit the spot. MMM!!

can I tell you how much I hate this background on my site, but I like the menu on the left. I need to see if Aniket can fix this for me. AHH! PINK!

Merc and I spent our evening making sock monkeys last night. I love them! What a joy to create a sock monkey. You see them around all the time. I love them. I even embroidered a heart on mine. They are are so disfunctional, not your typical store sock monkey. I will post pics when I upload them.

Last night we had a birthday party for one of our friends. It was a success all in all.
So I live in Austin, TX and right now the temps here have been in the 100's the past 2 months straight. We are also suffering a Severe drought. Needless to say the grass is completely dead and everyone has a beautiful glisten to their skin. Anywho, yesterday I was sitting by our makeshift bar outside, we had  purchased a handle of vodka the previous evening. It was sitting in the shade of our trees. I guess it got a little overheated. It exploded. Glass and Vodka all over the bar! Crazy hot! I thought someone was shooting at us.
